I miss being 5

Didn't go to taekwondo today :(
I hate missing class actually.
But it's my business on why i don't go.
Don't go pumping Shafique for info. He'll never tell the whole truth. That's my bro :)

Practiced the piano a lot today but i felt like something was missing.
My heart just wasn't in it today.
That doesn't help when I have FIVE songs to perform.
If I can actually master them in time.
I'm trying to master one page of each song every week. But that doesn't really add up to much in my opinion. Not when your partner is ready to sing her heart out and you're still squinting at the music sheet stabbing at the wrong notes. Oh well.

Was invited to OldTown for a birthday lunch for Divya. Nish couldn't make it. It's a good thing actually. She had the chicken pox and is in the peeling stage and I've never had it. :/
I'd like to keep it that way.

Met Sakun. It was really awesome to talk to her. She bought me a scarf from Moscow. :)
She forgot the cute Russian guy i asked for. :( I checked. He wasn't in the bag she brought the scarves in. Hahaha.
She just finished her 1st year in medical school in Russia. The interesting facts about the human body and preserved corpses she told me...Reeeaaally cool. Disgusting. But. Cool.

Walked over to the bike shop when mum called.
Decided not to get 2 separate bikes and just asked mum to get a really good bike me and Shafique can share. It's black and white mountain bike. Superb.

Then guess what. We went back to OldTown because mum wanted a drink. The girls were still there. Mum had a chat with Sakun. She was all "Oh you're so tiny! And so pretty!". She is. But she's taken. And by a very sweet guy btw :)
That's a story to tell. Classic "We met in medical school" story.

Then we went back home, got Hazeem's bike and went to the park to play with his friends.
I love little kids. Obviously the little boys were lost in their own world but i like talking to Aina. She didn't talk much but she is the dreamiest and prettiest 4 year old i know.

The boys stuck in their own world and Aina stuck in hers, me and Shafique decided to hang out together. I haven't played with him in forever. I kinda miss our kid moments.

We ran around like idiots.
Ran along with Aina on her bike.
Almost got run over by Akbar the future rempit. Haha.
Tried out the slide.
Hung on the monkey bars. Shafique pulled me off the monkey bars :/
Played catch.
Swung on the swings.

At one point I asked Shafique to push me higher on the swings.
He did and I had a flashback to when I was 5 and he was 3.
I would be the one pushing him on the swings. Being the good sister I was and because all I knew was to protect my little brother and make him happy. Along with loving my mum and stuff obviously.
I was uber protective of Shafique back then. I still care about him. I just can't care like I used to. I don't know how to handle a hormonal teenage guy. LOL.

So yeah, back to the swings.
Shafique pushed me till I felt like i would almost fly off.
Even though at one point I screaming for him to stop and my fingers were hurting from holding onto the metal chains so tightly.
*rolls eyes* This is the brother I care so much about.

*sigh*
I miss being 5.
