Día Nueve.

So hey y'all.

I'm still here and honestly, it's a bit of a struggle. More with myself than anything else.
Unless I have something to do and even the days when I'm out and about, I miss home. I miss my family. Okay, yes I'm staying with family but in this context they're relatives.

In my opinion (if you're close with your family especially), no matter how much you get on with your relatives, there is nothing like being at home with your family.

But anyway, yesterday was a pretty good day even though it started a bit late.
As my dad once said, aku macam menganggur saja. No one was home except my aunty and while she was sleeping I was listlessly walking around the apartment, reading my book, going online, etc.
My cousin did invite me out but my stupid phone has been having problems and messages don't appear properly. To me, my day started at 2 because that's the time I finally bathed. Haha.
But in actuality I guess it started at 4 when my cousin finally came and picked me up.

We planned to go swimming but my cousin didn't have a swimsuit so we went to 1Borneo to get one. Got it and then went to eat because I didn't really eat lunch and we're always ready for food ;)
So then we drove to the Sport Complex and after a bit of this and that finally managed to park inside. My cousin was scared that people were gonna recognize her and stuff.. Dither dather. Haha. Anyway, when she finally jumped into the pool I couldn't really follow because it was cold as flipping fish. Seriously, I put a foot into the water and I instantly shivered.

So while I was bracing myself to jump in suddenly this guy with a freaking thick Russian accent who was training some kids in the adjacent pool came up to her and said "Excuse me, no swimming. No one can swim in here."
Obviously being the scaredy-cat I was horrified and a bit embarassed.
My cousin's reply was "But I can."

Here's the deal, the pool closes to the public at 7pm and we arrived there at 7pm.
Now just to jump ahead, we got to swim and the reason is that 1. My cousin's former coach invited us to swim at that time and 2. To summarize, my cousin can swim at anytime she wants.
I don't want to go more than that so voila, we got to swim and the pool was 8 feet deep yo.
But I managed to do a lap or too with her laughing at me for my non-existent backstroke.
There were lots of kids training at that time but we had a small section for ourselves.

So anyway, after that we changed and went to pick up my cousin's husband.
I was already rather tired but we went out to eat dinner at City and it was sushi! Yum!
I tried out a bunch of new things I would have never tried so in it's own way it was a nice new experience eating with them. Then I was sent home.

Honestly, my cousin is really awesome. She and her hubby escorted me upstairs to my aunt's apartment. I get freaked out having to go upstairs at night.

So anyway, I had a lovely day and I thank my cousin Nadia for turning what I thought to be a boring day, interesting.
The female cousins I've been hanging out with have been amazing and really made sure that I enjoy myself and I love them for that.

Okay long post done.
Adios.
