Yea, i did lotsa stuff on Sunday.
Well not really, but my day was filled.
While waiting for my name to be called during the CPR exam, Hafizah told me that there was an international taekwondo tournament going on in Stadium Malawati.
Now obviously, i want to see more sparring matches but add in 'international' and i'm all ears. Hahah.
So after finishing the exam i quickly called my mum and asked if Farrah, Amalia and me could go watch the tournament and for a ride since *sigh* none of us can drive.
She said yes.
She picked us up and we had lunch in Tesco.
It was Farrah's first time there.
Not that i blame her dad for never going there.
That place is very racist. If your face isn't Malay enough don't expect anyone to take notice of you.
My mum was looking at some phones and asking the price and that idiotic Malay salesman gave her a sideways glance and went back to serving the Malay family in front of him.
I was very close to shouting at him. Mum stopped me. :/
Don't think i wouldn't. I've yelled swear words at a lady is Carrefour for trying to belittle my mum. The look on her face was priceless when i called her a bitch. :)
Anyway,
munchmunchmunch and mum sent us to the stadium.
Got there and as soon as we entered me and Amalia's jaws dropped. Farrah's didn't because she doesn't like mat salleh..oh, and she's loyal to her boyfriend.
The reason for the dropped jaws is as soon as we entered the stadium a really hot Australian competitor walked past us.
Now we aren't the kinda of lame Asians who's eyes get huge and round everytime a foreigner walks by coz, if there is nothing to look at, there's nothing to look at.
But Amalia turned to me and said "Thank you Aween." because really, it was like hot athlete heaven. Ahaha.. She was saying why did her sister stop taekwondo coz then she would probably be competing in these kinds of competitions and Amalia could've been introduced to alot of people.
Now anyway, we went around the stadium alot because we wanted to look at all the teams. We saw Singapore, Thailand, Japan, Australia (2 teams), Malaysia, Sri Lanka and i think we saw a Nigerian. Didn't catch any match except for Australian and Malaysian matches.
We also had a 'competition' to see who could get the most smiles.
Because i am shorter than the two beauties and have braces i was obviously out of the running. Meaning i did not get any smiles because the tall people didn't look far down. They saw Amalia and Farrah and ooooooh...
I hate you guys. Hhahah..
No ok. I'm not that lame.
I don't really mind. Takpe. Nanti i dapat bf dari Perancis ke ape...Haha. Yea right. Don't be lame Zureen (-_-')
Oh, we were in our First Aid clothes still and all these guys kept making lame jokes (trying to get out attention) like "Oh sakit perut." and etc. There was this guy who started limping in front of us and shouting that his leg was in pain. Liars and losers all of them. But it was entertaining.
After a while we got bored and went to Petronas. Farrah wanted to go to Giant but i didn't really feel like it.
I was joking about what if as soon as we left then someone needed our help in the stadium.
Then on the way back. As we were nearing the stadium we heard ambulance sirens. Omg. Imagine my horror. Ruzana called and said that someone had a fit or a stroke or something.
Later on we found out that it was actually a heart attack and a Malaysian athlete's father.
He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
We had a minute of silence.
This was after all the matches were over.
The Malaysian won gold by the way. His opponent was an Australian. It was an amazing match.
During one match a Malaysian supporter kept yelling "Malaysia Boleh! Malaysia Boleh!".
That was cool but i don't know why when he suddenly said "Malaysia Can! Malaysia Can!" i burst out laughing. My laughter was pretty loud and i had to stifle it in Farrah's shirt. :D
Maybe it was the literal translation thing that is pretty hilarious with Malaysian English.
Then there was one match where the guy got kicked in the nuts..Ahahaha..
I know you guys are probably wincing in pain (the athlete did) but it looked hilarious from up in the stands.
The Malaysian supporter started saying really loudly "Eh! Don't play ball lah!".
We were all laughing.
Sorry for the bloody long story and no pics.
It would be longer but i'll spare you the boredom.
We didn't bring a camera.
Farrah's died during the CPR exam.
